The Letter that May Have Prevented War
On Nov. 14, Iraq's leader Saddam Hussein avoided war and relented
to months of international pressure by sending a letter to U.N.
Secretary General Kofi Annan and president George W. Bush giving
permission to let weapons inspectors inside his country to search
for weapons of mass destruction. While the general public has
not seen the letter in its entirety, curiously, the Chicago Tribune
called the letter "rambling" while the Wall Street Journal
said it was "strange." LostBrain.com investigated further,
and found a copy of Saddam's historic letter.
